Mother's Day

We celebrated a wonderful Mother's Day here in Albuquerque. We spent the morning enjoying the Aquarium and Botanical Gardens. The girls especially enjoyed the fantasy park in the gardens. Afterwards we went home for naps, then out to dinner. Overall, it was just a beautiful day with the family.

Emmalee Turns 6!!!

Emmalee had her birthday party this weekend. We kept it very small, but everyone had a good time, especially the birthday girl :) Thank you to everyone who came, and to those who could not come but were there in spirit!

Mother's Day Tea

Caleigh and I went to a Mother's Day Tea at her preschool. The class got up to sing a song, and of course my Caleigh would not participate in that...at all. Otherwise we had a very nice time.

The Zoo

We spent the afternoon at the zoo with some friends today...Addie's first visit. We had beautiful weather, and everyone had a great time. The girls loved it, and keep asking to go back, I have a feeling we'll be spending a lot of time there this summer.

Easter

PJ's from Nana and Papa

Nana and Papa recently sent the girls a set of matching PJ's. They are way cute, and the girls love that they all match. I also came to a conclusion...that nothing raises my blood sugar like trying to take a picture of all three girls!!

I thought it might be fun to post a few of the out takes from our picture taking adventure. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I "enjoyed" taking them!!

IT'z

Last week we took the girls to a fun pizza place in town called ITz..which can only be described as Chuck E Cheese on steroids. Needless to say, all the girls loved it and can't wait to go back. We may need a few weeks to regain our energy before we can go back!

Afternoon at the park

We've had some beautiful weather the past few days, so Emmalee, Caleigh and I met some friends at the park this afternoon. It's a new one we hadn't been to before, and the girls all loved it. We can't wait to go back!!

Flagstaff

A few weeks ago we were lucky enough to spend the weekend with my cousin Michele and her family. Unfortunately, we were only together for a day, but we had a great time! My girls fell in love with baby Ella, who they quickly named "Ella of Frell", a name you will understand if you have ever seen the movie Ella Enchanted. Since we only had such a short time together, we never even left the hotel. We agreed to get together more often so the cousins can play together, since some of our best memories growing up are playing with our cousins.
